A Few Shots of a Birthday

This party was 2 weeks ago and I just got around to preparing the photos...which is just what they are, family snapshots for scrapbooking...but I wouldn't have missed this for the world. A fun group of kids, Kokomos, and a limo to get them there because that was the only way we could fit 12 kids into a vehicle. Most of our parties are NOT this elaborate but we needed a special one this year...Hope you had a blast Abby!

One Day During Lunch....

I am fortunate to work in such a beautiful city, where I can escape from the stress in just a few minutes time and relax and enjoy the world around me. There are parks with water and birds of all kinds everywhere. Here's a few from the other day. I'm trying to work again with lightroom for my processing, looks like I may have blown a few whites... back to the drawing board!

Darling Baby

I had the honor of taking this beautiful baby's 3 month portraits Saturday, and it was so neat because I also took their maternity photos a week before he was born. Such a nice family and what an exciting time it is to be new first time parents. Here's a few from the day. Doesn't he look like a little angel? Thanks Nicole and Matt for the pleasure!

Re-Do

Processing woes, not happy with previous posts images, so this is a quick cs3 re-do. Leaving lightroom alone for now..time to play later! Hope this looks a little better. Oops, still some work to do on this one....

Studio Day!

Today I set up my backdrop and paper in the garage (fun to have a studio!) and finally took some dance portraits. I LOVE to do this! Here's a few, still working on a cs3 and Lightroom learning curve, so it's slow comin'. It's difficult to find a time when the girls want to do this, but today I got lucky. More shots coming in the next day or two.

This girl's off to camp tomorrow so this week I have to corner my other daughter who doesn't like to do this so much, but there is a lot of events taking place this week, birthday party, water balloon fights, etc, so I can probably get some candids which are better anyway.

Need the practice because Saturday I get to take a 3 month old baby's pictures....so excited because I did his Mom and Dads' Maternity photos. Thanks Nicole and Matt!

Trying to get a new lens before then, we'll see.
