Carly's Engaged!

A few Saturdays ago I was honored and blessed to take engagement photos for my niece Carly and her Fian'ce Krys, and of course we put Little Jozlynn in there as well, she was adorable!!  What a great day!  Looking forward to the wedding, for sure! A very happy little family to be, indeed.

Her senior year, first prom, she is really growing up.  She went with a large group of kids to Dow Gardens for pictures, then they took a party bus to Bay city to eat at Harveys....she was so beautiful!!

Oliver?

We are looking for a name for our new family member, he is so luvable!  But very fast...and very busy.  Oliver seems to be our fave as of now. We will see! We were not looking to add a puppy to our family, we already have 2, but made the mistake of going to the petstore while they were having an adoption day.   Iphone pics!

  

 

A Beautiful Winter Friday Morning

I see the most amazing sunrises on my way into work, so I love the mornings when I leave earlier than usual and gave camera in hand.  And this beautiful church makes a wonderful skyline...

2012 A Year In Review

Last night I went through all of my photos taken during the year and come up with my favorites....either artiscally or just because they invoke great memories.  Three highlights were a family vacation at Lake Leelanau,  a hot-air balloon ride with my husband (bucket list!), and my nephew Josh's wedding.  And the sad event of losing my older brother to cancer....I don't have photos of all of the above, but here's what I do have:

I wish I would have shot more photos, but I am thankful for the much needed time spent with family.

My week off, now back to work...

But I did do so much this week, I feel like I have been off a lot longer.
Printed and framed 12 pictures for my soffits....

Read two books.....excellant!

Started collecting Cobalt glassware for my kitchen, had a blast in the antique stores with Jill.

And this is the begginnings of how it will look...still need to pick up some more pieces for the opposite wall, but I am not in a hurry...it is too much fun to look!

Sat by the pool for a few of the days, spent a day with my daughter, visited friends and family, photographed a great baseball team, and had a family party today with our granddaughters...All in all, a good week!
