Sunflowers after the morning rain

There's a raindrop ready to fall off the tip of a petal.

And lots of bees...

And some whose blossoms are coming to an end.

A Busy Week...

A cook-out and pool party with our son and daughter-in-law and our grand-daughters who LOVED the pool! It was a lot of fun to watch them. These are just a few that I had time to edit. Will add a few more later.

And I met my friend Julie and her daughters at the Nature Center where we took TONS of pictures, and again I only had time to edit a few. Got a lot of nice shots but I had some focus issues...too bad for me, because the girls were just beautiful!
Hopefully I can finish editing these before I take a ton more.

A Day in the Life...

This is what I did today...corn! Since I couldn't get out to take any pictures, I used what I had at hand. Sounds like I'm addicted! Which I probably am. Finally figured out how to add a watermark thanks to Kay, who is SO much better at this than I am. Thanks Kay!

Chicago

Loving the "feel" of the city.

Chicago

We visited the wonderful city of Chicago and it was fantastic! I love this city!
Shopped, went to the Navy Pier, shopped, saw my Nephew and his wifes' condo,(what a fun life they have, living in the city, walking to work everyday, living in the midst of all the action...so lucky!), and then we shopped some more. I can't wait to go back!
This little girl was so cute feeding the seagulls.

Saginaw Chippewa Pow wow

What an exciting night, to see the native americans so proudly dancing, singing and playing their drums...it was an amazing sight to see! Another photo shoot/group adventure. I definately plan on going back next year. More pictures coming...
