A new lens

I'm renting a Nikon 70-200 2.8 lens and tried it out for the first time today, my gosh, is it HUGE! But I think I might like it with a little more practice. My girls are willing models lately, and so are their friends so I may as well take advantage of it. We're going out again tomorrow to get some more shots.

Last Class

is coming up and it's time to put the series together, weed them out and decide how I want to present them.
What to do? Don't know yet....I'm SO new at this!

Another recital

but this time for voice...she loves opera and her guitars, and kind of plans on majoring in music conducting or music performance. Her dream is to go to europe for a couple years for opera after college....gee, I think she needs to take her Mom with her! Christmas comes in May

if you're at a dance recital! This years theme is the calender beginning and ending with Christmas tap. Hoping to take some studio type shots soon with all the costumes.

Dance, motion and blur snapshots

This will be our entire weekend, from Dance rehearsal to 2 performances, and yes, it seems to be a BLUR....
So proud of her.. 7 hours of dance a week with mono, don't know how she did it, but I'm glad this is the last week. Until next year of course!

Old Buildings and a Sweet Little girl

This darling girl is one of the prom girls' sister. Cute as can be!

Just got word today that I can get inside of the old school I've been photographing, for some more interesting shots. I'm so excited...need to wait for a real sunny day, to get some light in there..hope it's soon. I only have a few classes left and I don't feel as though I've accomplished

what I had hoped to...so now it's hustle!

Prom

And gorgeous girls and guys. They had a blast and I was lucky enough to get to practice on them.

I'm giving them all a cd so they can print what they want. I'm putting the rest on my flickr hopefully tonight...I'm so behind in everything!

Busy Day

I spent the last 3 hours trying to remember how to upload pictures to flickr, and then played around alittle and figured out how to search tags, and it made it a lot more fun. So then I had to add my own tags so one thing lead to another and now 3 hours is gone...but it was fun!
