Our Two Lazy Dogs

The top one is Dooney, named after the Dooney-Bourke purses (can you tell I have daughters?),and she is a cock-a-poo.
And then there is Shadow, our Golden Retreiver...I love these dogs!

Class homework...

topic is "Dishes and/or Utensils." It's very hard to do when you are not used to taking this type of a picture...trying to think outside of the box. By the way, see me and my camera in the refection on the measuring spoon? No matter where I stood, I couldn't get rid of it.

Another very sad day...

Our Uncle Bob passed away last night. He was such a gentle soul, soft-spoken, great sense of humor and a giant heart. He'd even shoo away flies and spiders rather than swat them. He loved his family dearly, and he will be missed immensely.

He was my father's younger brother and great friend to both my Mom and Dad. My heart goes out to his siblings, children and especially Aunt Jan. My prayers are with you all. I loved Uncle Bob and will miss him terribly.

Valentines....

I love
Valentine's Day...
beautiful roses, painted
chocolates.

My poor husband didn't want chocolate
this year....special diet...he asked for dates
and figs. But he did get one chocolate
heart! It's just not V-day without chocolate.

And homemade cards and gift-box from our daughters...the sweetest thing I ever saw....and again, CHOCOLATE!!!! I Love this day...

Snow sculptures

from our Farmer's Market .

SNOW....

like I haven't seen since I was
a little kid. 11 1/2 inches in one day and I'm lovin' it!
Some scenes from home
and around town.

Subject for this week is ....

SHADOWS.

I have another idea for
one and it's a sunny day,
so I may get a chance to try
it.

Fruits and Vegetables...Class 4

And mirrors.....

Need a lot more practice with the

macro.

Having fun with MACRO

During the last week I've been playing around with my macro lens, and again today with our photo group, and it's been fun...and challenging, trying to beat sundown. Notice the little pink flower in the water drop?
The two glass photos are from my class.
Thanks for looking!
